Rise to the Call

Why did we choose "Rise to the Call" as Anastasis' slogan?

We chose this slogan because the empty tomb reminds us we have a call to fulfill: to live our new life in Jesus Christ with the highest commitment possible!

Jesus rose from the dead, allowing us to live a new life that is meant to bring glory to God.

Are we living that life? Or did we quit our spiritual journey at the cross, where our Lord died for us, without realizing that our new life begins here in the kingdom He has established?

Answering God's call is never an easy task. Throughout Scripture, we find many examples of men and women who rose to the call of God but never without struggles and suffering.

Our new collection, "Rise to the Call," wants to inspire you to remember those who have responded to God's call with all their limits and mistakes and still have had the opportunity to see their lives used to bring glory to their Lord.

Moses, Jonah, Abraham, Saul, and David all have a story to tell and a way to encourage us. If you scroll through the collection you will read about their lives and the challenges they faced.

God calls us in different ways and circumstances but always to make us participants in His great and wonderful salvific mission.

Next time you think of the Gospel you have believed in, don't stop at the cross but go forth to the empty tomb and embrace the power of the resurrection in your life.

Romans 6

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10 The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
